Pacific Ocean (March 2, 2003) -- Aircrew Survival Equiptmentman 1st Class Scott Mitchell from Merkel, TX performs a preflight check of a pilot's flight gear. As a parachute rigger for the "Yellow Jackets" of Electronic Attack Squadron One Three Eight (VAQ-138), Mitchell maintains the aircrew's flight gear to ensure all survival and communications items are functional.
