BRITISH public opinion last night swung dramatically behind American and UK military action to disarm Iraq.

Why? Why now? I don't get it.

I think the Sun is showing some bad grammar - the polls showed a swing last night, not that opinion itself swung last night.

Sounds like the left-wing rags in the UK are losing their ability to pull the wool over the eyes of the British public. Ditto here in the states. I'd say all systems are go for a launch. I love it!

I hate to use a French phrase, but if a fait accompli without UN approval were done, and Saddam and his troops folded like yesterdays dirty diapers, the frantic reaction by the French, Germans, Russians and Turks would be amusing, to say the least.

I knew the British would come on board, once they got the information and Tony talked to them! Good on him, and thank you for posting this, Ivan!

The momentum has swung back. Looks like our military and public opinion are about to line up at about same time.

...if the UN gives the all clear

I am constantly amazed and bewildered that people are willing to proxy their security, autonomy and future to a collectivist, corrupt and incompetent organization like the UN. An organization which answers to no one. Why do they put more faith in the UN than in their own freely elected governments? It's maddening.

Good news! And big kudos to PM Blair....I think the British public is responding (though I think more Brits already supported the anti-Saddam movement and not the pro-Saddam appeasers).

Meanwhile....the Turkeys are wallowing in more economic misery. Islamocentrism hurts in the wallet.

Now....if we can just get some glasses to fit Hans Blix's face...

My opinion of Jack Straw has changed a lot in the past couple of months.

Now if those UN tossers can get a clue(doubt it)......
