Brit Hume should be doing much better. I consider Special Report to be the best political show on weekdays.

Truly, our airwaves are bereft of a voice that speaks for millions of liberals. Perhaps a new network catering to these citizens would be a tonic for this truly unfair monopoly held by conservatives. In a free market economy, the market provides what the customers desire.

I actually like Greta now. Her slot was supposed to be for more tabloid like news and I think she does a good job. Same here. Is it me, or does it seem Greta has become a bit more conservative since she moved to FOX?
I remember people throwing fits that FOX hired this leftist liberal...but she doesn't seem all that liberal to me on most issues. At least not when it comes to Saddam, Iraq, and the war on terrorism.

We need to give Laura Ingraham her own show...how bout 11:00est? bump the O'reilly replay to 12:00 and Hume to 1:00...I'm up that late anyway ;)

You are correct! Even worse, now our local US Post Offices have TV sets spewing out CNN non-stop. Hate it, but they refuse to change the channel. They are all leftists there since all PO people are gummint "workers" with a bad attitude.

>>>I'm surprised at Brit Hume's ratings, I thought they would be higher.
Not a good time slot. Plays against nightly snooze shows and in many areas before people get home from work

I was traveling for a week and thought the world had gone crazy because I could never get Fox in a hotel and had to listen to CNN.

I like Greta too. Everyone was pretty skeptical when she first came to Fox News, but she has done very well. Her questions are fantastic, and the way she can steadily fire them away is amazing. She stays evenly tempered and doesn't allow things to get to a shouting match. Good job, Greta!

I actually think that Greta's show is more non-political and she has a great knack for tabloid type news that the other FOX shows lack. For example, if you want to know anything about something like the Laci Peterson case, she's the one to go to and she has the most knowledgable guests.

I've started using FoxNews hotel finder. Now we won't stay in any hotel/motel that doesn't carry FoxNews - it saves my sanity when away from home.

I think that since it comes on at 1800 on the East Coast, most people are still not home from work. By the time Shep Smith and the others come on, the majority of people are home for the night.

I was in a car accident back on January 14th. My wife and I stayed home for about three weeks. Watching the entire FOX lineup was great. I also like Neal Cavuto's show and John Gibson's The Big Story.

Why doesnt Fox News starts a national news show to compete DIRECTLY with CBSNBCABC ??? Seems like a sure fire winner!

Perhaps a new network catering to these citizens would be a tonic for this truly unfair monopoly held by conservativesPerhaps so, but until then I guess they will just have to make do with Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Bryant Gumbal, Katie Couric, Bill Moyers, and a few dozen other full time network voices speaking out for the oppressed libs.
To: RooRoobird14
Agreed. Brit would get higher ratings if he and Shep switched slots. Brit's show is far better than Shep's.

I think John Gibson is underrated as well. (although I am hoping to get a look at Heather Nauert most of the time...)
