The only reason you were attacked was for being American? Why would Irishmen attack Americans? And only 11 days after 911? I don't get it.

Well, I didn't get it either but it was pretty terrible. It wasn't a physical attack...it was a lot of people verbally attacking us and the United States. And it was only 11 days after 9/11...that made it particularly upsetting. We flew from San Francisco on September 17th for Ireland because that particular trip had been planned for several months. We were there just being ourselves in a country that I happen to love (Ireland) and so it was quite shocking to me and extremely upsetting. It wasn't just Irish people in that wretched pub...there were English people and Scottish people and probably other nationalities of people. We had a great time in lots of other pubs in Ireland but I will never, ever, ever forget that night in Dick Mack's Pub in Dingle. If you ever happen to get to Dingle, stay out of Dick Mack's. When I go back (for the vendetta) I'm wearing my sweatshirt with the flag and the towers and the eagle with the tear in her eye and the ships and the guns and "Payback Is A Bitch" on it. No way am I going to hide the fact that I'm an American and proud of it. And we will see just how much those pathetic whiners like THEIR "payback".
