I just don't see them coming to their senses until they have pushed the nation into violent reaction, and then they will misread it and attempt to crush the resistance by ever more brutal methods, leading to a downward spiral.

these vermin are below contempt, and that is exactly the reaction they deserve, every step of the way.
gun owners reactions, so far, only go to prove that they are peaceful, law abiding and responsible. it hasn't been, and will not be enough to counter the marxist's ever bolder attacks on liberty.
sadly, unless this is met head on, now, the gun owners of illinois will be forced to turn in their guns and slink back to their gulags as did the kalifornians, the new yorkers before them, D.C. ... the picture ain't pretty. this will be coming to a state near you, stay tuned.
