In Illinois, transfer fees are often $75 or so; I don't think I've ever seen one under $50.
$75 transfer fee! That is crap! Here in Utah I think it's $15. I don't have to pay a transfer fee in Utah because they just use my concealed carry license to do a background check. But it is garbage that we have to pay anything at all. Why should anyone have to prove that they are eligible to own a firearm when it is their God given right to keep and bear arms?
We need to support the Federal bill H.R. 193 that makes it unlawful to tax firearms and keep us on registration lists.
