The battle on both sides has nothing to do with Estrada. This is battle over who is running the senate. Estrada is the lightening rod.

Not an option. There is no "lower court." The district court to which he is nominated is as low as it gets in the federal court system.

I just read Biden said he's voted for 1400 judges in his career and only 16 no's.
Well, statistics are meaningless. The ones he voted no on are probably, Bork, Thomas, soon to be Estrada, etc.
What Biden doesn't tell you is what did his role on the Judiciary committe play in STOPPING conservatives from EVEN GETTING A VOTE, ie what they are doing to Estrada right now!
