I'm on a dial-up....and I can take a load of clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer in the time it takes to refresh the thread.

Hell isn't it? But you can set you preferences to display only 20 posts per page which will maybe help some. You may also limit displays of images. But then you can get some work done that otherwise may just pile up. lol
