I am going to join Rush 24/7 to hear it again I don't think he said that part you said he did. If I am wrong I will say it. I think you just spun!My first post was typed as fast as I could as he spoke. No personal comment from me.
My second post on the matter, when you have accused me of spinning, clarifies that he spoke of how we heard the Republicans were standing strong, the President gave his strong statement, then the Fox story came along and contradicted that idea. Rush said the Fox story turned out to be inaccurate.
He sounds like he gets the idea now, which, if I may say, is exactly what I and others tried to explain last week.
I had no intention of arguing with you. But I strongly resent your false accusation.

I am thinking that the democrat caucus meetings are going to start getting a little testy, particularly if, as we see today, Senator Pantsuit keeps flying off to collect cash and prizes, while the other three are left to cool their heels in the cloakroom.
Heheheh.
We need to start paying attention to snippy comments from the candidates.

I didn't understand last week and I still don't understand what the purpose is of not calling cloture votes.
To: Howlin

Thanks for posting the text of what Rush said. I trust your reporting.
I had a clear internet connection the entire show UNTIL he started talking about Estrada (can't get radio where I live). I have 24/7 so I will listen to that part later tonight.
The point is-------Rush cleared up a mis-impression. Full-speed ahead. And the Dems are digging themselves a DEEP hole.....which I applaud. I encourage them to keep digging!
Again, thanks, cyncooper.

I didn't understand last week and I still don't understand what the purpose is of not calling cloture votes. The Dems just finished making two weeks of RNC commercials. Idiots.

Yes, Hillary leaked the Turkey information. Count on it. Uh, the 'Turkey leak?' Please clue me in on this, I am confused.

So that's why Hillary didnt' show up for work today - didn't want to be asked about her "support" for yet another criminal.

Harkin was talkin' Turkey about 100 posts or so ago, and someone mentioned how odd it was since he only talks social programs and what not. There is also some embarrassment associated with all of the monetary incentives being broadcast all over. Turkey not happy.

I didn't understand last week and I still don't understand what the purpose is of not calling cloture votes. IMHO, it's the same reason Bush will not prosecute Bill Clinton. Once a method has been used, it can be used in the future against the party who used it.
In this case, a cloture vote would make 60 votes the new effective standard for approving a judge.
To: aristeides
They're not calling for cloture until they have the sixty votes they need. This keeps the "switch votes"/"under the table agreements" private (THE dems can't pressure their own who have chosen to switch sides.)

If that was the case, she'd never be able to leave the house -- everybody she knows is a criminal in one shape or form.

Just heard it on Fox. I have video feed on computer and Fox on (LOUD) on my TV. I am ok unless the dog starts barking. Then I will probably need a hearing aid.
