Hmmmm....state department lackies protecting their post-Govt jobs as Saudi lobbyists? They don't want a war because sanctions would assumably subside - and the price of their oil decrease. Same for Iran, but I suppose "their" rep is a Shia, and Iran certainly has a bad history with Iraq they don't want a repeat - so oil not the primary motive. That a "Saudi" backed, but not Turkish, rep is on is ridiculous. But some here say that the State Dept. has the reputation of being the "Arab Dept."

I knew you would ping me... :)

And I will agree that we probably did our share...but I won't put the whole blame on the US. There is enough blame to go around... and Turkey must take her share instead of screaming "mean ole US demeaned us."

You said that the Turkey delegation felt humiliated... after reading your over-emotional posts the last two days... I don't think it took that much to make the Turkey delegation feel humiliated.

But... it will be okay in the end.

And I'm still waiting on proof that the Kurds are being armed with AA that WILL SHOOT DOWN THE AIRPLANE WITH YOUR KIDS ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day!
