I have always said just that. That's why I try and buy plain old (used, if possible) guitars.

I think alot of the expense of JT's guitar is in his electronics. He uses a multiple pick-up system. If you see him, look for the tiny mic just above the soundhole. He's also got a pick-up under the bridge. The sound is incredible.


The thing about my uncle and the TaeKwonDo was exactly the speed at which it was over. Literally seconds. Never ceased to amaze me. He was never a guy who looked for trouble. But being relatively small, in certain situations, can lead a wise guy to think he has an advantage, know what I mean?

Dan – I’m going to have your comments (#555) inscribed on my tombstone (we all know how it’s common practice to chisel positive, not-necessarily-entirely-deserved stuff there). Couldn’t leave the house today after reading them .... head swelled too much to fit through the door.

Let's hope tomorrow brings us one day closer to liberating the people of Iraq, and rendering the rest of the world less susceptible to the vagaries of one madman (and may he not rest in peace). Then, while setting up a post-Saddam regime, we can at least begin to turn our attention east to Kim Jong Il. The art of military/political juggling is precarious these days, and there seems to be no shortage of powerful, high-profile madmen, hell bent on diverting our attention, and dictating our priorities.

He needs our prayers tonight.

The first time I ever even NOTICED KidRock's existence was when MTV or VH1 taped some tour over to entertain the troops in Europe somewheres...it was a positive first impression of the dude, no doubt. Then, I notice KidRock's got a video with him singing a duet with Cheryl Crowe-feetEyes and realize he's tellin' his fellow musicians, "This is what I believe, and I KNOW you believe otherwise...y'all wanna make music with me or not?! In a Capitalist society, that is Zackley the Right attitude and I'm not gonna be surprised when some of these musicians come to, first, respect KidRock's apparent patriotism, then second, replicate it!!
