BTW, the Cerne Abbas Giant is about 2,000 years old, and is thought to be the joint project of Celts and Roman occupiers in the regions. He's sort of a cross between the Celtic Cernunnos (hence the name of the village) and the Roman Hercules. An ancient local tradition says that women who wanted to conceive would spend a night sleeping on the Giant's manhood for increased fertility.
