I didnt check the sources in his bibliography, but I think he cites it from a couple of different places, including the Congressional Record.

I'm afraid the Congressional Record (at least in this context) doesn't really qualify as worthwhile. Any congresscritter, including Maxine Waters, can place *anything* in there (and often have). What seems to have happened is that a congresscritter from 1963 took a section from a 1958 Skousen Book and slapped a label on it e.g. "Communist Goals of 1963" and the circle goes round and round.

In short, the document (and its hyperventilated "Dr. Evil" like wording) appears to be Skousen's creation, more properly his "interpretation" of Communist goals based on other sources which he does not specifically name. I could be wrong but nobody has given me any reason to believe otherwise.

I dont have my copy of it with me, but I'll look and see where he got it from vis a vis his bibliography. I could have swore he also found a CC of it from somewhere else. (Since he worked at the FBI where he really got it may have been classified and not available to be cited as a source. Just a thought).

But dont judge the book on that alone. It examines communist philosophy and it's history blow by blow. I still recommend it to understand what goes through the mind of a leftist (besides bong resin and paint chips).

Thanks for your input. The only difference between Communism and Socialsim is the way they are introduced into a society. Communism is indeed a totalitarian philosophy as you mentioned. Socialism is a more subtile, but equally as dangerous to freedom and Democracy as Communism is.

Is it not true that France has indeed been overtaken by socialist philosophy in it's government? And the same for Germany? Could this exlain their opposition to forced disarmament of Iraq, which is basically a Communist led government. They want to profit from their continued violations of the UN sanctions imposed against Iraq after the 1991 war. There is little difference between a dictator and a Communist. They oppress the people into submission, taking profit motive from enterprise and distribute the proceeds in a supposedly equal proportion. Tell me what is not dangerous about this philosophy being introduced into a free enterprise market like the USA?

America has taken great steps and risen to prominent position in the world because it has not been suppressed by a repressive government. Communism in the Soviet bloc is a proven failure, yet many still present the philosophy of socialism as the utopian view to end all conflict.

As far as disarming Korea. Korea is rattling sabres because Kim sees America and the UN as weak and unable to act on imposing sanctions against corrupt and dangerous nations such as Korea. Korea will be dealt with I am sure. Korea has unfortunately been appeased and taken a shadow role in it's development of WMD's, while Saddam And Iraq have been identified as perps in the barbaric terrorist network. Yet Korea is an equal threat, and now given it's capability to produce and deliver WMD's has an opportunity to terrorize it's neighbors into conceding to it's doctrine. No different than Iraq.

Lenin is indeed alive in doctrine, and since you defend the doctrine, I have to believe you are one of the enablers of communism/socialism in America. Should we feel threatened?
Of course.
