This is total misrepresentation. This only mentions liberal churches, not the entire Evangelical movement.
Try the Southern Baptists, Church of God, or Assembly of God.

Just another reason that I'm glad that my little Missionary Baptist church is independent.

Mainline churches all belong to the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CHURCHES and are totally corrupted by left-wingers.
EVERY DIME OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND TITHES GO TO THIS ANTI-AMERICAN ORGANIZATION.
Add fundamental Bible churches to your approved list.... Their seminary is Dallas Theological Seminary and it's rock solid conservative.

Why do liberals only listen to religious leaders when it comes to war, but not abortion, not crime/punishment,etc.?

I do not agree with all the the philosophy of the church I attend, but it is difficult to find a church where everyone agrees about everything. This one just comes the closest to my core beliefs and I need that attachment...some people don't. I've found that "associations" and "organizations" don't always represent the true will of the people they represent. I'd venture a guess that many members don't even know that their church is associated with some of these organizations nor do they even know that those organizations issue statements on their behalf.

Try the Southern Baptists, Church of God, or Assembly of God. Sorry, but those churches in my area are also preaching anti-war sentiments.

most of the members in my denomination would support this war, but I don't think we've offered a resolution one way or another. It seems supporters are more apt to hold back the resolutions while non-supporters are more activist minded.
Does that sound about right to you?

All of the mentioned churches are "dead" churches where almost no one is ever led to Christ. All but the Catholic Bishops are not against abortion. They all serve a dead god and therefore do not perceive justice as a virtue. Isn't it strange that the bishops are more stridently anti Bush that anti child molestor. Next they will ask us to take human rights suggestion fromthe Germans or military advice from the French.
