Just think, Mr. Stein, if you had put your law books down and come to the Rally -- it WOULD have been bigger.

Or, you could have done as High Road to China, and FLOWN a few thousand miles to get to a bigger one. I hear Houston hit 10,000.

OR, since you are in college, you could have joined up with the College Republicans in your area and made sure THEY knew about the rally and were coming.

But it IS so much easier and satisfying to just complain about how badly other people do a job and how much better YOU could do if you tried....

:-(

Who's complaining? I'm decrying the coverage, not the event. I've given comments like yours lots of thought. If I jumped to attend every event, my grades would suffer. If my grades suffered, I couldn't make law review. If that happened, I would not be in position to help the cause.

On the other hand, if I stick to the books and MAKE law review, I will be in a position to *significantly* aid our common cause. But, that takes time, dedication, and sacrifice -- such as not attending events I would otherwise like to attend. As a conservative member of law review, I would be in a position to significantly affect the legal dialog on issues that matter to conservatives and to challenge the prevailing wisdom. In such a position, I could make a significant impact which would benefit all conservatives.

Keep this in mind -- I'm on YOUR side.
