STEEE...RIKE TWO!One evening while watching a major league game, the batter foul tipped the pitch which hit home plate and squirtted through the catcher's legs. It bounced up and struck the Umpire. The announcers in the booth noted the Umpire's grimace and remarked that it really stung when you were hit in the thigh. The catcher turned to see where the ball had gone and the Umpire was uncovered. The announcers continued to babble but the whole world could see that the Ump was not clutching his thigh! In the end I don't remember who was hurt more, the Umpire or the announcers!!!!
