You obviously do not know them very well.
No offense but your comment is out of ignorance. Pure? Let my friend tell you about all the unwed Amish girls he hauled to the doctor for their pregnancy checks.
Let another frind of mine tell you about his Amish co-worker that was caught humping the family dog (it was a female at least!) 6 months after he got married. His wife caught him. This happened in the last 3 or 4 months. I could go on but PURE? No way!

The Amish are repressive and backwards. They do their best to keep their children ignorant, lest they leave the cult.
However, to deny an Amish family a horse is to deny them mobility. The zoning rule is 100% wrong!
