Thanks for the post. Also, last week Brian Kilmeade appeared on Hannity & Colmes to join Sean in reliving the experience. Brian was really coming out of his usually reserved shell and giving her hell. It was truly a wonderful thing.

I heard at one point she was so frustrated spittle emerged from her rather ugly mouth.

I forget exactly when it was, but at one point she got so flustered she started stamping her feet and whining. Remember that?

Just like Rumplestiltskin huh?
Garafolo is interesting . An appealing actress, but an awful standup comedian , all that terminal angst and boring atheistic wariness personna is a turnoff.
She is bright , but seems to live in a different world than the rest of us.

Exactly. Garafalo looked like an idiot, quite frankly. Which, in retrospect, might be insulting to idiots.

"
For eons, the media elites and the celebrity crowd have been used to proceeding without being challenged by their sycophantic followers."Which is the weakness of the media system. Nobody can talk back to them, and if they do, nobody outside their TV rooms can hear them.
As I heard an old preacher say once: "How few think justly of the thinking few. How few ever think, who think they do!"

Skewered nicely and grilled to perfection.

They surely aren't used to being challenged like this. We're supposed to keep quiet and listen. You said it, Eric. That's exactly what they expect.

She is bright , but seems to live in a different world than the rest of us. She is? Really!
If stupid is as stupid does [it is/does], so much the more so for intelligence. Why do we continue to give people who project a certain persona through specific, narrowly tailored media vehicles a pass on their infantile, silly, and in JG's case incredibly stupid actions and pronouncements?
Intelligence requires more than education [which is increasingly nothing more than parroting a handful of useful phrases to equally dim professors]. It's more than memorization too [ok, i admit she can do lines on cue]. It involves problem solving ability, common sense, and an all-too-often neglected faculty called judgement.
Please elaborate with concrete examples which of these last three qualities she's ever displayed in public, so the rest of us can understand the delicious, intriguing paradox that is JG.

If he wanted to have a serious debate on the issue of Iraq, he would not have invited Garofalo. Or is he afraid to debate someone who may make him look frustrated and uninformed?
The morning show is more like an opportunity for a "chat" than a debate. From my perspective, Brian Kilmeade hit his Burka point and had to counter (was obliged as a decent person?) the garbage Garofolo was spewing. I didn't see it Kilmeade "looking to debate".

such as who??? sarandon, gere, sheen, streisand, ritter, oh no I got it ramsey clark?
oh I see you signed up today go back to unemployed underground

Excuse me, Rumplestiltskin is an unfairly maligned person of (small) size who was tricked and cheated by an unscrupulous, if attractive, young woman.
On his behalf, I object to the comparison.

What channel were you watching? "Ate him for lunch" Puh-leeze...She was off balance as soon as he made her start justifying her positions. She lost her composure as soon as he started questioning her shakey facts. She was stomping her feet and shrieking like a banshee. She apparently was not ready for him to hold her feet to the fire, and make her back up the left-wing rhetoric she has been able to spout on the talk circuit over the last weeks. Her points were rehearsed and tired, and he was waiting for her. Geez. And you would think she would have the decency to wash her hair. Whats she doing? Researching a role as Bob Marley?
