I don't know much about this technique.

I don't know that much either. But in the search for Sophia Juarez they used an infrared technology that could, according to the operator, tell you where an animal slept in the brush the night before. A decomposing body does emit heat, so I guess it would work well in detecting bodies not buried too deep.

I don't know too much about this sort of thing either. I did see a show (cable) on crimes or something. And they did like an xray of a driveway, I think. They found the body of a woman that had been murdered a long time previously. 15 or 20 years.

Wish I could remember more about it.
