Rally for America

There has been a very favorable response in the Four States to the Peace Through Strength - Rally for America. Several radio stations have been making public service announcement and a good crowd is expected. Special thanks to Petracom Radio, KOBC, and the Zimmer Radio Group. Some of the media have been asking questions as to why we are doing this. Here are some answers:

1) Why are you doing the Rally for America?
a) To celebrate our freedom, to support our system of government, to support our President and our troops, as they take up the slack for the world community.
b) To support our troops as they do what they do best: Liberate people from oppressive regimes and protect our way of life.
c) To support America. We are concerned about some of the undertones at the anti-war rallies, and want to show our support for freedom and our soldiers. Hollywood does not speak for most of America.

2) What do you think of the war in Iraq.
a) While no sane person likes war, sometimes we have a responsibility to free people from a tyrannical system of government; especially when they say they intend to destroy or expand their terror to other nations. We cannot let a vital region be held hostage by brutal dictators and terrorists.
b) We believe most Iraqi citizens want to be free.
c) We believe a properly elected president must make the call for or against war and once our troops are in the field the time for policy debate is over. The people should stand together and protest at the next election opportunity if they feel so inclined.

3) Do you want war?
a) No sane person hopes for war, but sometimes battles must be fought to keep the world safe from tyranical dictators and suicidal terrorists.
b) Hussein started this war in 1991, we should have finished it then and it would be wrong to leave it for our children to do later.

4) Why go after Saddam Hussein and not Usama bin Laden?
a) We believe our public officials when they say that military intelligence proves that the terrorist network is working together and includes Saddam Hussein.
b) The American people will not be safe until terrorists everywhere know that we will come after them every time they come out of their dark holes.
