Sigh. This is the "Everybody does it" argument . . . . . . . . . . that most of our parents ignored when we tried to use it - when we were but small children or teenagers.
Just proves the immaturity of the adult using that argument today.

I don't mean to belabor this point. All I'm trying to do is take Janeane Garofolo seriously and that leads me to conclude she's either lying, propagandizing, or just plain stupid. She is ignorant, pure and simple.

"Everybody does it" was a favorite philosphy of the Clinton administration.

What does an actress with a sinking career do to revive interest in herself and her career? Embrace a cause that is popular with liberals and sure to gain maximum media attention. But until all these actors and actresses are willing to leave the safety of America and go to Iraq and become human shields, willing to die for the cause they supposedly believe in so much, I for one, will not be impressed. Become a human shield in Iraq, Ms. Garofolo, and once you are dead, then I will sing your praises (as well as dance on your grave). After all, a good actor can do both equally as well.

Well, that's funny. Saddam kicked the inspectors out in 1998, and I don't think even Scott Ritter and Tariq Aziz would concede that the inspectors are in Iraq because we are threatening war. Um, shouldn't that be "deny"? (Or the preceding "don't" should be removed.)

And yet, Win Without War was created less than three months ago. So, I suspect that there are fewer than 32 million people who would say, "I'm a member of Win Without War." That would be 14,580 "members" signing up every hour of every day since "Win Without War" was created. Wow, they must have one hell of a phone bank system and a massive array of membership services operators on duty...
Or she's just lying.

I was watching the Jimmy Kimmel(sp?) show just about two weeks ago and she was on there doing her anti-war thing. I'm almost sure I heard her say that she was dating Bill O'Reilly. I'd figure she'd be all good and primed up for the right-side attacks by now. Instead, it seems to me she needs to be blind-sided by the Mac truck of dedutive reasoning.

That's when I realized how childish the "everybody does it" argument was. Now when I hear it, I lose any respect I may have had for the person who uses it.

Yes, I'll admit she is a good debater .. but she really needs to brush up on her history and get the facts right

I've figured it out. It's the same kind of new math the Dems use when they say that Bush was elected with less than 25% of the vote. They count the people who are silence as being on their side.

Thank G-d Brian Killmead let her hang herself and pulled a coup de grace at the end.
