You know, I never heard "We are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic." Till I came to Free Republic. Liberals have really just about won that particular battle, and have convinced most young people that "this is a democracy!" Then they further appropriate the word "democracy" to promote "equity" and begin carefully moving people in the direction of Socialism. Once they have you convinced that "democracy" means what they say it means, it's an easy feed.

So in my EDUC classes I have to take at the University down here, every time my Marxist joke of a professor says, "in a democracy" I say "But we are not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic." I know 25 people (my classmates) who will remember that phrase forever, cause I intend to make sure of it.
