Thanks for posting this. I read it in the New York Post today. It's really great stuff. I've been advocating that the Repubs get some spine for years. But no, they cater to the Libs and we all suffer as a result. FReegards.

The republicans are cowards... or idiots. they either don't know how to kill the enemies of freedom, or they lack the courage to drive the wooden stake.

In either case, their timidity and "go along to get along" attitude has severely endangered our children's futures in the long term... and very likely in the short term as well.

Frist needs to walk in this morning at 3AM with somebody's head in a wicker basket... and again at 4AM with another... and again at 5AM with another... and by the time we get to five thirty... the judge would be confirmed... and we could vote on the next ten by noon.

But with so many of the levers of power in our hands, to bring about necessary change, somebody's gotta be willing to get bloodied, in order to force change. Oh gifted one..... just how do you force someone to keep talking? Please explain that procedure to the forum. What if they don't want the floor and don't want to talk. How do you make them? What if they don't seek recognition? The senate just sits idle awaiting someone to seek recognition...

Possibly the Republicans want to get some business done, and are waiting for the war to start so that a filibuster by the Dems while our soldiers are in harm's way will be all the more repulsive.

Turkey is now the reason why the war has been held up as a recent change in the political makeup of their parliament has made it difficult to get them to agree on allowing the second front for the war to amass on their territory.

Ole Bill Frist, "Bushs man in the Senate", has got a grand strategy going here whereby he is outfoxing the dems. Any day now, Ole Bill will spring his trap, and, zap the dems will be defeated. Ole Bill is going to whip the Senate into shape any day now.

Just be patient, you just are not capable of grasping this grande maneuver that Bill is pulling off here.

If the Republicans lose this slam-dunk because they don't like staying up late or being called nasty names, well, they deserve to become the Minority party in the Senate - and most likely will!

Republican Senators need to forget their Sunday tee-times and Quiche brunches and start sticking up for something besides their inflated egos and exhalted opinions of their place in American history. If they don't, Americans will abandon them and they will become the most "fair-minded" has-beens in the trash bin of history.
