Military Kids Allegedly Harassed at School -- by Teachers

I agree. Teachers' indoctrination of their students will affect them profoundly for a long time. Even smart kids are likely to adopt their teachers' attitudes, at least into their early twenties (when they start having to earn a living, and begin to see life as it really is!).

Public schools have been taken over by the left, through teachers' unions. I see no way to correct this except by parents' rejecting the public schools. This does seem to be happening.

I thank you for bringing up the "proved vs. proven" matter. Every time I hear the word "proven," it is like fingernails on a blackboard -- especially when Hitlery uses it.

Thanks for the information. My grandaughter, here in South Texas has a teacher who has humiliated her in front of the class several times, and we're 'fixing' to go to the principal about it.

I'm not picking on teachers, it's 'people'. We always talk about free speech, but 'people' used to know when NOT to say and do things!! I disagree when 'free speech' hurts and demeans others!

Re. "600 Kids";

I was wondering how we went from 20 or 30 cases down to two, back up to 12, and then... 600?!

In re-reading that WND article, it states that 600 FAMILIES have been EFFECTED - in other words Families effected by the mobilization of National Guard Units, not the number of Children subjected to harassment, trauma, or abuse.

I hope it is not that many, anyway.

The initial concern that there may be many still unreported cases seems to have vanished quickly, but I think that it is still a valid concern.
