"I'm always amazed that we can find enough people to make the kind of sacrifice that is required..."
You are exactly right.
Every generation says that their successors will be soft, weak, and self absorbed.
Every preceding generation has been wrong.
I'd take these guys anywhere
...from someone who commanded an Army platoon in RVN.

The show was awesome. Hubby and I watched it (over our 3 and 4 year old running around the living room like a couple of nuts!). He called all his DEPers (his recruits waiting to ship) and told them to turn it on! He was really impressed with the Colonel's "How Dare They Speech". He loved the segments with the SF guys. He is really looking forward to being back on the line. He's headed to the 82nd after his tour in recruiting is up in Nov. He's trying to get out of here early and get down to Bragg even sooner. I think the show made him want to leave recruiting like yesterday and get back to leading troops ASAP.

This show was great. It should be mandatory in colleges and universities across this country.
You will notice the precarious position our Special Operations forces put themselves in to capture a suspected Al Qaeda operative NONVIOLENTLY.
Soldiers need this kind of coverage at all times.

This show was great. I look forward to future episodes.
I hate to admit it, but "I'm a Celebrity! Get me Out of Here!" has also been really fun, in a far more frivilous way.

We should find some way to petition ABC to rebroadcast the
episodes a 2nd time, like FOX did with the Joe Millionaire
stuff. It get a lot more people a chance to get
'hooked'.
In my case, I never heard of this show until these posts.
It shows ABC has no way to reach people like me thru their
normal methods of advertising.
ABC - show it again!

I emailed ABC last night to let them know what a wonderful show it was. I also hope they'll repeat it!

I watched this program and was amazed at how they allowed our soldiers and military personnel be shown as they really are up close and personal without some kind of negative spin and negative commentary.
This is the kind of "reality" TV (and TV in general) we should have more of at this time. I will definately be tuning in next week. More reality TV about profiles of those who give all to serve our country to secure our freedom and way of life. Forget about "Fear Factor", "Survivor Amazon" or "I'm a Celebrity Idiot Get Me Out of Here"! We want more of this real "reality TV"!!!
