My thought exactly. I can remember wondering if quidam really knew anything or not (and secretly hoping that he did.)

However I am not sure where the "Wiz" would get such inside info - the link on his homepage goes to a website where it states that he is --- ta da -----

"The only real live Wizard in America. For a lifetime I have lived the life and occupation of a Wizard, paid the dues, did the time, earned the title........."

It seems that this wizard is stationed deep in the Fanghorn forest.

I remember those posts..."all will be clear by Tuesday"...what is isn't and what isn't is, the screw turns next week"...yadda yadda yadda. I used to hope he was a really deep insider too. Seems silly now, but it was fun then.
