I doubt the U.S. would 'pre-announce' the start of "Operation Desert-Flush" with a scheduled TV broadcast.
When the real thing starts the WH/networks will break-in to let the public know it's started.
In fact the last time it was CNN broadcasting live when the cruise missiles flew past the hotel - too bad it missed.
