This part is totally true:
Now that their influence has been on the wane for a century, the old European powers have learned the benefits of multilateralism; it allows them a chance to roll back American power and remain relevant. In school, we used to call it being taken shiko - when some guy studied all night and yet lied to you, saying that he had been at the Carnivore instead. European support for international law is a cynical play for power in a moral guise, let's recognise it as such.

Basically an integrated air-defense array grid that is quite nice thanks to friendly neighborhood Israeli-Brit assistance. At least 4 decades better than what is in the continent (the only folks who have better stuff within a several thousand mile circumfrence is South Africa to the extreme south and Egypt to the extreme north .....S.Africa because it has a defense industry that has a great degree of efficacy, and Egypt because it has spent billions trying to build something that can stop Israeli jets ....and the weird ,and ironical, thing is that much of that Egyptian stuff has been paid for by US taxpayers).
Anyways any Fulcrums 'getting lost' would go down in a ball of crimson flame.
