Everything is permitted under moral relativism.

Everything is permitted under any religion as long as you convince yourself you're acting in the name of God. Since God doesn't hold public lessons on morality, we're left to human interpretations of his will. Some humans have the notion that God approves of murdering infidels and beating women who expose their faces, so we need a better way to evaluate moral claims than "because God says so".

Really? When has the Catholic Church endorsed abortion? That's an infallible, irrevocable doctrine of the Church.

Sweeping claims like that aren't really defensible, TD...

Or you're operating with total and full grace.

What I mean is that you stated that 'everything is permitted' under any religion as long as the religionist convinces himself or herself that he or she is acting in the name of God.

I just pointed out that Catholics (and committed Protestants and Orthodox) would not condone, procure or perform an abortion--they would not permit themselves to be part of an abortion--because they believe in God.

So, a committed Catholic 'acting in the name of God' would not permit himself to perform an abortion. Thus everything is not permitted. Your argument is a non sequitur
