It seems to me that Frist called for the 6pm vote on Monday aas a gesturee to the Dims so that he could say we offered to vote next week but they turned it down.

Yes that was a change or compromise for his original request for a vote at midnight last night with the time remaining to that vote split equally between the two sides... that didn't fly .... so after the quorum call he offered to extend to Monday evening... that was objected to... now another quorum .... we'll see what he offers next....
