The dems have got to agree and a vote, time, etc. So far they haven't..... If they can't agree then it's more debate until a cloture vote is called or the item is dropped from the senate schedule......

this is when the filibuster begins. He might call another quorum after this and then say that the Senate will stay until they get the 60 votes.

Frist ahs done this motion before. He asks unanimous consent for a reasonable amount of time to debate ending with an up or down vote. This avoids a direct vote and can be done quickly unless a senator objects. Frist knew that some rat would object.
