Don't know but it's A-OK with me! I missed his speech this morning and he DOES have something worth while to say.

Yes - what is up with that? Lunchtime ... I think it's going to be just an hour today, so back to work at 3:30 EST.
The President's address this morning makes a very fine "filler".

The Senate is in recess until later today. CSPAN is replaying a recording of their choice to fill air.

CSPAN2 is now reporting that Frist may be calling for an all-nighter! This could get good!

Reorter from Congress Daily just said that the R's
only need 3 more votes for cloture. She must know how it is going behind the scenes.(lets hope)

Break out the Mountain Dew and Pepsi.
If you really want to have some fun, slip some to Senator Hatch. :)

Good news! Frist is getting his ducks in a row...

In 2000 all we heard, over and over from the Dems, was, "Every vote must count!" Now, all we hear from the Dems, over and over, is, "No vote must count if we won't like the outcome!" When are we going to slam this down their lying throats? We also heard "What was good enough for the [last] congress is good enough for [this] congress."
I guess not, after all.

Reporter from Congress Daily just said ... Is she the one that was on CSPAN2? (I am doing software installs on this system, and am bouncing back and forth among about five windows.)
If so, then I also heard her say that my one Senator who is not totally brain-dead -- i.e., Di Fi -- may be starting to waver because of some pressure she's feeling here at home. (Didn't say if she was ready to vote for Estrada, but she may not be willing to support the filibuster.)

The repubs want an up and down (majority) vote and do not want to set a precedence by going to the 3/5ths vote (60).
Besides, would you trust the Dems on their word?? I think that is what happened in the Fortas case.
The system works except when being disrupted or rewritten by the plots of the Dems. Play it out the way it was intended.
To: RobFromGa
Even though they are the ones starting the filibuster, they blame Republicans for the delay.
More liberal hypocrisy.

KKK is wasting time and whining about the cost of the Iraq war.

She is one of mine also, I did not hear that, but I would really be surprised if that were the case. Boxer is a lost cause, and is brain dead!!!

Are they discussing Estrada, or where is he on the agenda this afternoon?
