Living in Texas, I am reminded on a daily basis of the FACT that Mexico has absolutely NO RESPECT for our borders, our laws and the toll that they place on our social, medical or educational systems.

The doctors at Duke reserve 5% of organ transplants for illegal aliens(there's that pesky term again- ILLEGAL), out of compassion. I have no doubt that they did their level best to save that poor girls' life. They are human, not Gods, and they do make mistakes.

However, keep in mind that this family paid a "coyote" the sum of $5,000.00 to bring them into the States and on to Georgia so that they could take advantage of our tax-payer supported medical system.

The way that I see it, they should be thankful that they were given the opportunity to do so. They should also be thankful that their tails aren't being arrested for violating our laws. Our generosity is our greatest weakness. Their ingratitude is their greatest shortcoming.

Perhaps Mexico should get their collective shit together and stop dumping their problems on us. They sure as hell don't seem to do much to improve their lot in life, so where is it our responsibility to do it for them? The Lord helps those that help themselves.

My wife loves watching those "emergency medical" programs on Fox, like "Paramedics", and some other one about Emergency Rooms.

After about six months of watching, we both noted that we had never seen a paying customer. Every single episode features mostly people who can't pay: Gang members, drunks, drug addicts, homeless derelicts, etc....

Has anybody else noticed this?
