I believe they support this because they know France will veto it and it will never be passed.

Rosie Perez is an actress (White Men Can't Jump, and others). Rosie Ruiz was the subway taking "marathon runner".

They've apparently decided to do a Rosie Perez "home stretch sprint" at the Boston Marathon (I think that was her name---you know, the chick who rode a cab for most of the Boston Marathon, then got out and ran the last quarter mile & claimed victory? LOL!!!
Or maybe they learned that Saddam has an all-male golf club. That would REALLY get them worked up!

Thanks, Stirner--I wasn't sure about Rosie's last name.
My parents (in their 70's, both retired government workers) subscribe to the New York Times here in Arizona. My mom feels compelled to regularly clip leftist propaganda from the NYT and hand it to me ("Here!!! You need to read this!!") I just play along and pretend that I'll read that trash--LOL.

The Grey Lady can only show so much macho. Typical weenie thinking, that a compromise with evil is cleaner than defeating it. But we all know that the UK/US resolution means war and liberation for Iraq, and an end to half-measurs.
Even NYT has grasped the obvious, that Iraq has not and wont disarm under the inspection process.
What is reprehesnible is how France and Russia 3 months ago signed up for "Iraq has defied resolutions" and "Iraq must disarm immediately" now are saying that it is not clear that Iraq has WMDs, so let's inspect (even though powell showed how they are tricking and deceiving). The "irresolution" they propose now is WEAKER than 1441 was ... what gives!?!?
What gives of course is that they want to keep Saddam in power at all costs, even to our security.
The key is to get enough fo the council to sign on to it, mexico, angola, chile, cameroon (!!!), maybe even Russia when we show them this ...

Exactly!!
The only reason I can account for this is that Rush (and an assorted group of others), have been taking the NYT apart. Even Wash Post has been onboard for some time with the war. If the times wants to sell papers ...??

Happened yesterday when Egypt cut the Palestinians out of the will.
