Most Californians now believe the state is headed in the wrong direction, and just one in three approve of the job being done by Gov. Gray Davis, according to a statewide poll released Monday.
The Public Policy Institute of California's latest poll finds a dark mood throughout the state in which 71 percent expect bad financial times during the next year.

Gray Davis blames Californians rather than his own ineptitude for the mess the state's in. Typical liberal.

Gray Davis blames Californians rather than his own ineptitude for the mess the state's in. It's the Californians that elected him so it is their fault. But I'm not sure this is what Davis means when he blames Californians.

Gov Davis is a good example of what happens when liberals are in charge. California now has a deficit of $17.5 billion, and just this week Davis announced a proposed $4 billion spending package for road improvements. What the hell is this guy thinking? Obviously he has no problem wasting away California's money, that they don't have.
Davis squandered the $12 billion budget surplus California had, and he has nothing to show for it.
This brings me to another topic. I'm sick and tired of Dems saying that the reason why the economy was so good was because Clinton was in office. Then they blame the failing economy on Bush. This really makes no sense to me at all.

Sign your recall petitions when you see them! Get Davis out of there!

Just make sure that it's another dem that gets saddled with this dilema!
It's currently an insoluable problem and there's no point in setting up a Republican to take the blame any time soon.

In California, it would be another Dim. Logic would say that if there is a recall and Davis is replaced with Unnamed Republican, then the replacement would be able to say it wasn't his mess but he's cleaning it up anyway because he loves this state...blah blah blah, I'm sure you get the idea. But then I remember what state I'm in and i wave bye-bye to logic.
