Exactly! Win2000 is by far the best and most operating system out there, and it doesn't require the activation that XP does.

Activation is the future, so we might as well get used to it. Who is going to want to stay with Windows2000 when Windows2016 offers a 3D satellite phone? ;)

YUP. But download and use service pack#3. I have a winXP disk and don't bother with it because of activation. I've installed it a few times then let it lapse.
