So Uncle Jaque, do you agree with the terrorism that these teachers did to these innocent children? Does that make you have spasms of joy!

Are you the typical French dna descendent who hates Americans?

You are the one with the sheets in your closet in this situation supporting the terrorist teachers and laughing at the children being terrorized?

Sounds like it to me!

Whoooooah there, Grampa D.!

Can we have a little "Time Out" here?

I guess I should have tacked one of those little "[/Sarcasm]" tags on the end of my last.

I suppose I can see where it might have been taken the wrong way, and my appologies, Sir, for any misunderstanding.

Should you have any lingering concerns about where your humble correspondant is coming from, please feel free to run a FR trace on me (I think you can do that)and scan some of my postings here over the last year or so, and that ought to clear the air.

Hearing about this hardly gave me a sense of "joy"; I try to be a fairly easy-going, open minded, tolerant sort of Conservative... but this lit my roman candle right off and blew me right out of my foxhole! Talk about setting off pyrotechnics in a flammable environment; Whoooh!

After expressing my choice sentiments to Elected Representatives, Journalists who just might care, and even a few friends (possibly "former friends" at this point)and family Members who work with or within the Public School System, there may be a few organizations and social circles I have been active in where I might now be "personna non gratis" for a while.

Another concern I have is that there might be few folks out there who may, in the red fog of passion, be considering making good on some of these none-too subtle suggestions of physical confrontation we see in some of the related threads. You ARE kidding, aren't you? Gosh; I hope so!

I am outraged too - and that may be an understatement - but I humbly submit to all on board that I think that we all need to be very carefull as to how we express our anger, or perhaps even consider tactical solutions to a political issue.

I for one so happen to know, and actually like, a handfull of Teachers in this State, and I don't really think that they would ever pull the sort of stunt alleged here, despite any political sentiments they might subscribe to. They are just too darned professional. And Right or Left, we all (myself included) have to take constant pains to avoid the natural temptation to stereotype and generalize other folks.

Whoever or whatever is behind these atrocities must be found out and held accountable - but PLEASE; within the context of the LAW and basic Human decency!

With this much passion and energy boucing around, things could get way out of hand here all too quickly - and I for one do NOT want to see that happening. Not in Maine.

Physical threats, intimidation, or violence have long been a big part of the playbook used by guys like Soddamn H., and a few others we can probably think of.

But unless and until our detractors choose to excersize their tactical options against us, let's PLEEEEASE not even consider resorting to ours - OK?

As to the Francoid nickname; there's a long story behind that. Our geneology indicates that there is "just a drop" of the French in our Family line - "Coombs" from the Bowdoinham Area circa 1750 to the 1830's. We understand that they helped to settle the area when it was still in the Mass. Colony of the British Empire.

Which leads me to another concern; I submit that we might all demonstrate Wisdom by avoiding the practice of putting people down because of their ancestral or ethnic associations - even though those associations might connect with a group or Country with whom America has had or currently has a problem.

I catch myself doing it all the time. Like, errr.... my last posting for example.

Oy.

And yes; isn't it interesting how since Yesterday the "30" individual incidents have diminished to, oh, one or two here and there, and are really no big deal. And do you hear all those crickets out there in the News Media? Gosh; this whole deal seems to be getting sucked right under the table before our very eyes! How about that?

I was about to post an opinion of how perhaps the Major and the Lt. Col. just got off the phone with a chap they call "General", who just got off the phone with another chap in Augusta affectionately known as "Governor" who in turn has had a nice little ringie-dingie from his good friends across Town at the offices of the _._._.. And now; Vuiolla!!! It's no big deal; nothing to see here folks; just move along now.

Can you fill in the blanks? But awwww; you beat me to it!

Wouldn't it be nice if we could have Peace and Liberty at the same time?

Keep the Faith, eh?
