After awhile he tried 10 pound potato sacks, then 50 pound potato sacks and finally he got to where he could lift a 100 pound potato sack in each hand and hold his arms straight out for more than a full minute!
Next, he started putting potatoes in the sacks.I like your grandfather. :)

The FReepers in that second-to-last photo from CPAC are (L to R): Warrior Nurse, zelig, nutmeg, bert, Cacique, and Clemenza. Just out of the picture next to Clemenza is firebrand. That was a very nice gathering, and the first place we all (formally) met Warrior Nurse (who really rocked the CPAC crowd with his excellent questions to several speakers!).

Fabulous Finest today, Billie!
Nutmeg & Zelig.....Congratulations.....you are truly the Finest. What a handsome couple you are! Hope to meet you 'in the flesh' one of these days.
Now have learned that 'nutmeg' is in honor of your state and I'm curious about the origin of 'Zelig'......there was a Woody Allen movie by that name, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I liked Warrior Nurse's question to Sam Donaldson about his horse farm tax write-off.

It always warms my heart to see nutmeg and zelig in New York, knowing they have come all the way from the Massachusetts border. Wonderful people and lovely friends. You're a wonderful FRiend as well... thank you! AND a great Tri-State leader. You know how we love NYC... wish we could be down there more often. I have to say that we really should be honoring YOU for all you've done to expand conservatism in ultra-liberal NYC. Kudos... Not an easy job!
DC FReepers:
**Hey, Sean Hannity is mentioning Free Republic now on WABC! "We love the FReepers... well, MOST of them!" He's advertising the DC Chapter's Patriots Rally for America this Saturday, March 1, 2003. He's now interviewing B-1 Bob Dornan, who will be speaking at the Patriots Rally. Thanks for the plug, Sean!

Yeah, I liked Warrior Nurse's question to Sam Donaldson about his horse farm tax write-off. LOL, same here! A "hummina, hummina.." moment for Sam! Warrior Nurse had fantastic questions for speakers in MANY of those sessions (and we sat through a LOT of them!). Intelligent, thought-provoking questions that really livened up and improved the quality of the discussions.

Thank you, Julie. And thanks for posting that nice BIG Connecticut quarter - one of the nicer designs, if you don't mind my saying. I really hope we can meet you one of these days also. Sure wish we were in FLORIDA today... we've had one Winter From He!! this year. :(
We had the honor of meeting your lovely Congresswoman - Katherine Harris - at CPAC (actually we met her last year at another function also). She is a class act! I wish she was our congressperson.

Congrats on your day, you two! Thank you 'Pod! I'll never forget the first time we met - last May at the Correspondents' Dinner FReep in DC. Your "madam" character was absolutely priceless! Your "Finest" thread - with all those incredible photos - is one of the best, too! :-)

Thanks for the heads up!! There have been people working hard in the DC Chapter to make that happen. Good for Sean!! Sean Hannity's the best!

I am the son of a war hero and that maybe why I serve, because my dad didn't have a choice I did. I have met some great people and traveled throughout the world. The only place I would fight for is the good ole USofA. Warrior Nurse, I can't tell you what an honor it was for us to meet and get to know you (a little bit, anyway) at CPAC and here on FR. Warriors like you and your dad make all of us here in these United States of America very proud. You are an inspiration and provide a great hope for our future. Thank you - and thank you to your dad - for your service to our great country!

Nutmeg, what else was said? How long did it last? I'm "stuck" at work, working, so I can't listen to it. What else did Bob Dornan or Sean Hannity say about this weekend's rally?
To: The Thin Man
Alright, since I couldn't find any errors there is nothing more for me to say except you both did a fine job. You'll never know how this makes me feel. :) I know that was painful for you, T Man. Bless your heart. :)
