In fairness to Kushner, why should your investments determine whether or not you're permitted political speech?
Is that what the First Amendment says?

And that is what campaign contributions are: political speech.

Oh puhleze. How naive are you? I guess you believe Kushner and those like him are "altrusitic humanitarians" who give to politicians b/c they like the way the guy parts his hair.

Come off it. Face reality.

Laws are setup to overcome the failures and foibles of human nature. Election laws are reasoned on the fact that big donors want - and usually get - something in return.

Kushner stands to amass a fortune for the paltry millions he gave to politicans.
