DETROIT (AP) - Prosecutors issued arrest warrants for three people suspected of organizing a hotel orgy in which they charged men $15 to have sex with prostitutes, then posted the acts on the Internet. Robert Jackson, Joyce Phaneuf and Barbara Steele are believed to have staged parties around the country, enticing patrons with e-mails promising women "going for world records in sexual activities," Wayne County Prosecutor Michael Duggan said Monday.
Police arrested the three when they busted the party in Romulus, Mich., on Jan. 20, but later released them. Authorities learned about the orgy after the mother of a 17-year-old boy intercepted an e-mail invitation and notified hotel managers.
As many as 40 men traveled from as far as Illinois to participate, authorities say.
The three face charges of maintaining a house of prostitution, a five-year felony. At the party, Jackson collected money, while Phaneuf, Steele and another woman who has not been found provided sex, Duggan said.
Jackson, 57, was expected to surrender to authorities Tuesday. Prosecutors were seeking to extradite Phaneuf, 44, from Florida and Steele, 49, from Georgia.
Olympics? Wheelchair sex? Wow, my mind does not work that way, but I'm sure you'll find it on the Internet somewhere.
As long as they aren't causing harm, why not indeed.
"Prosecutors were seeking to extradite [Joyce] Phaneuf, 44, from Florida and [Barbara] Steele, 49, from Georgia."
Uh ... did you forget to double-check the ages of the "ladies" who were on the receiving end of the evening's entertainment? I'd rather not see pictures -- I still have to enjoy tonight's midnight raid on the icebox.
