I have no dirt on the Senator. He is a determined businessman, who shrewdly built up his enterprises. However, my mom worked retail in one of his grocery stores a long time ago, and says that he was always fair to his employees.

I suppose the nastiest thing I can say about Herb Kohl is that he promised to be an independent thinkner in the Senate. He also promised to not be ostructionist. So, the nastiest thing I can say about him is that he breaks campaign promises. Big deal.

From what I can tell, we're not going to be able to 'get' Kohl on anything personal or business-related. His vulnerability is that he seems to have caved in to the Kennedy-wing of his party. My $.02. Thanks for asking!
