I think that Islam is not a religion, but a cult, some thing that the world would be better off without.

Avery large cult...but a cult nontheless.

And an evil one at that.

This has MAJOR potential for problems!

THIS is also occuring in a foreign country (Britain) where the laws are different. This law (1861 Offenses against the Person Act) does not exist in the US.

This law also reminds me of the US 'Blue Laws' that are still on the books and never enforced.

El-Faisal, 39,...

Ever notice how when you see these people on video they always look like they're about 60?

His lawyers argued that he was a respected cleric whose quotations from scripture have been taken out of context.

I love this statement. Who took what out of context? If el-Faisal is quoting scripture, then isn't he responsible for the context?

Oops sorry, I'm attempting to apply logic to Islamoterrorists.

This has MAJOR potential for problems!

Can't yell fire in a crowded theater, and incitements to violence are similarly not protected speech. No problem here..if they have to re-write their services, then they should have done it years ago. (Of course, I am referring to U.S. Constitutional Law, but similar principles should apply even though Britain has no written constitution)

The penalty is 6 hours in the stocks in the public square.

It's clearly Nazism all over again -- the same brutal, mericeless disregard for human life (no matter what age, sex circumstances). There are peaceful Moslems but it may come to a point where out of self-preservation Americans will have to be distrustful of ALL Moslems (if they are not already). We NEED racial profiling to combat this.

The photo of Hamza-al Masri and his bodyguard conducting "street prayers" is priceless. Try as they might to look devout and cleric-like, the picture shows them for exactly what they are; a cut-throat and his murdering assistant.

Do these goons truly believe that mouthing words while their hearts are full of hate, is pleasing to whatever god they worship? They look about as irreligious as it is possible to be.

Imam 'guilty of spreading hate'

24-02-2003

BBC on line:

A Muslim cleric has been found guilty of three charges of soliciting murder by an Old Bailey jury.

Sheik Abdullah al-Faisal, 39, of Albert Square, Stratford, east London, denied five charges of soliciting murder and four others relating to stirring up racial hatred.

The charges related to talks he gave which were recorded and put on sale.

The jury found al-Faisal incited young, impressionable Muslims to kill non-believers, Americans, Hindus and Jews.

Al-Faisal argued his words were taken from the Koran, the Muslim holy book, and had been misrepresented.

One tape, Jihad, contained the words: "So you go to India and if you see a Hindu walking down the road you are allowed to kill him and take his money, is that clear?"

He also said it is permissible to use chemical weapons to kill unbelievers.

In a tape called Rules of Jihad, thought to have been made before September 11 Al-Faisal told his audience: "You have to learn how to shoot. You have to learn how to fly planes, drive tanks and you have to learn how to load your guns and to use missiles."

'Holy war'

He said: "You are only allowed to use nuclear weapons in that country which is 100% unbelievers."

On a tape entitled Declaration of War, which had a picture of Bin Laden on the cover and is thought to have been made in 2000, Mr al-Faisal translates one of his speeches calling for a holy war against Americans and Jews to "drive them out of the Holy Land".

The tape called Them Versus Us says: "There are two religions in the world today - the right one and the wrong one. Islam versus the rest of the world."

Al-Faisal was also found not guilty on two counts of soliciting murder. He was also convicted on two charges of using threatening behaviour and one of distributing threatening material.

He was acquitted on one charge of possessing threatening material.

Al-Faisal will be sentenced on Friday.

***Who's Astonished Now?***

Pat Robertson's CBN News was on these London Muslim Mosques even just before 9/11... he was showing intvus with these guys [pictured here ... and more] talking about doing just the sort of thing that they did on 9/11...

So naturally the American media has villified him. The last thing we need in this country is 'truth'... just tell us what y'all think we need to hear...

yeah, right.

FRegards, Bob I

BTW: hows by you? :-)
