You can't beat your enemy anymore through wars; instead you create an entire generation of people revenge-seeking," Clooney said... In other words, surrender and hope for the best.

Why post this drivel. Clooney is nobody special, just an actor. The camera has ways of making people famous, but not intelligent. Let's preserve bandwidth for more important things!

I used to feel somewhat guilty about downloading movies before going to see them in the theatre. Now I don't. I get to rate the quality of the product before purchasing it. I also get the chance to download a movie and NOT go see it. This is what I do with anti-American Hollywood jerk films, like Clooney. I really like Ocean's Eleven, but would not pay for it due to Clooney's antics. The way I see it, Clooney supports a political party that steals from me to give my money to others (Democrats and high taxation/income redistrubition) so I return the favor by watching his movie without paying for it!
Thank you Internet!!!

Our country is so confused, NOBODY knows who the enemy is.
We are POLITICALLY CORRECT, POLITICALLY CORRUPT, and POLITICALLY BANKRUPT.

>>I've been thinking about it and I'm beginnint to wonder if acting and liberalism are linked to the same gene. I mean, let's think about it.
Actors: good at taking on someone else's personality, not terribly stable, scared to be alone, unable to commit, rarely think for themselves, need agents and assistants to handle harsh aspects of life for them...
Liberals: good at taking on whatever views are popular, not terribly logical, scared to be alone (collectivism), unable to commit (want easy outs from marriage and parenthood), rarely think for themselves, need the government to mitigate the harsh spects of life for them...<<
That's great! If I knew how, I'd nominate it for Quote of the Day!!

"Clooney is nobody special, just an actor." The sheeples look to Hollywood for sexual, legal, moral, ethical, and spiritual authority and leadership.
Sheeples are lost souls - guided by the shiniest, prettiest faces promising the least amount of personal sacrifice for the most amount of gain.

I'm with you. It's too early in the morning on a glorious Sunday to worry about Neville Clooney. But
manana, the gloves come off. Us FReepers have to come up with a more effective way to penalize, embarrass, boycott, or counter these Hollyweird jackasses. Who is getting all the face-time on TV? To me, we have to be relentless in our efforts to face these jerks down.
But not today. I'm going to the lake with my mut. She's a far better conversationalist than Looney. And smarter. And better looking. And loyal. Loyal? I wonder if Clooney has ever heard of that word?
Do we all have the right to disagree with our government? Absolutely! It's mandatory that we do so. But not in a foreign land when the country's at war. And not when your complaints are party-based instead of philosophy-based. Looney never raised a voice against Pee Wee Clinton's "adventures," meek as they were. I guess lobbing million dollar missiles at twenty dollar pup tents in Afghanistan to drown out the news of Pee Wee getting a BJ in the Oval Office is Looney's kinda war. His kinda President. Most of the other Hollyweird-ites are the same way. Abhorrent and perverted behavior by a Democratic President is acceptable, even commendable behavior to them. But for a Republican President to try to defend Americans, with no hidden agendas, is beyond the comprehension levels for their little pea-brains.
Here, Baby. Here, girl.

Clooney would have got his ass whipped on anystreet, anytown USA had this been in 1942. Clooney could well get his ass whipped *today*, but then, he doesn't stroll around in public without a bodyguard, does he? It's not surprising that he feels emboldened to say whatever he feels.
In 1991, Woody Harrelson was supposed to ride in one of the big Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans (each year some of the parades have "celebrity guests"). He was invited well in advance, but then he began running his mouth about the Gulf War. Woody was un-invited, out of fear that the idiot would stop a flying brick with his head.
Come on down to Mardi Gras, Clooney. We'll show you lots of Southern "hospitality".

Clooney, 41, said Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was making a mistake to think a war against Iraq would be an easy win for the United States. Here we go, Mr. Clooney has put his intellect on the line against Donald Rumsfield's. It will be a fairly simple matter to look back and see whose analysis of the Iraqi engagement was closer to reality. (BTW Liberals are generally horrified to learn that more than half of the Iraqi army is just waiting for the chance to surrender...fun at parties...)
At that point, it will also be a fairly simple matter to use the result to paint the "mistaken" party as an intellectual amateur.

They are not neccessarily unpatriotic or unAmerican, but the vast majority are morons, their arguments make no sense, or are self contradicting.
Certainly many of the Hollywood Left are anti-American, and their statements clearly show this.
In Cloony's defense, if his objection to the war is that war no longer works, I wouldn't call that AntiAmerican or unpatriotic. It might be misguided and wrong, but that type of opposition, I can handle. Its the conspiracist america haters that I can't.

Good post. It's record keeping time. Let these loonie leftists speak their mind. Give us more reasons to ignore what they do on films.

Fascinating overview of world events, george. Hint: As you pontificate your ideas and contemplate your navel, catch a glimpse in the rearview mirror. There is a perfect storm brewing that your tunnel vision is not perceiving. Every evil, inhumane, tragic, and deranged form of insanity are coming together to form a tidal wave of epic proportion. There are just a few brave leaders willing to steer the boat. You are not one of them. Your belly-aching and whining is helping nothing. If you don't like the way the captain is trying to right the situation, then grab a life preserver, jump overboard, and man your own destiny. But as long as you're in the boat, shut the hell up. You are not helping the situation, and you're making the women and children nervous.

Tire irons work well, but nothing would beat the sound of his nose crunching under my fist.
