Big-name mainstream media cameras and reporters will be there, so it's an excellent opportunity for us not only to support Miguel Estrada, but to showcase a diverse party supportive of qualified nominees. It's also a rare opportunity to shine a light on the Democrats who have hijacked a process that will eventually put the first Hispanic-American in history on this court.
Hispanics from both sides of the aisle will be up front at this event and there should be hundreds of Republicans there to support them. Bring a candle if it's convenient

nick, are you responsible for this? Thank you! This is exactly what we need. According to the coalition of hispanic groups at the DC press conference last week, grassroots supporters of Miguel (and justice) forced Ms. Boxer to abandon her phone. Sen. Feinstein's "I've received 8000 calls against Miguel and 300 for" lie is about to be challenged. (^:
Anyone have a CA ping list?

Thanks, AP....
Need to keep this bumped as we need as many Freepers who work in SF to see this as possible... a do-able walk over from the Financial District (without heels)...

Aw, shucks...that work thing always gets in the way of our gettiing out tens of thousands of people...
All the more reason for those who are working in SF, who can get away just a LITTLE early, even if you've NEVER done anything so activist.....to help us create a big presence in support of Miguel Estrada.
Next time...CCC!!

Hey everyone... I'm hearing we're getting lots of Latino support for this... We need bodies there. A hot topic, a great opportunity for tweaking Boxer with her own tactics.
