Has anyone ever seen the movie BLAST FROM THE PAST. He's absolutely Hysterical in this movie. It's actually a great movie with a very moral and conservative message. Sissy Spacek was great too!

This was a VERY conservative movie. And a great, great movie; I love this film.

If any Freepers want to see two good romantic comedies that carry a very subversive conservative message about the virtues of the past we have forgotten, do a 2 for 1 movie night, Blast from the Past followed by Kate and Leopold.

In many ways, they're companion movies. The premises are almost exactly the same -- man from the past comes to the future to show everyone what manners and dignity are -- and they're both smart and funny. I'd bet ten bucks that the earlier film, Blast, inspired the later film's screenplay.
