I think lone terrorists will take advantage of the Iraq war,and act out. I also think al Qaeda might act, just to make things more confusing, make the public second-guess our war action. And, if Iraq sponsors al Qaeda, and did sponsor 9-11, then Iraqi terrorists will be set on the loose, too. My fear is biological weapons, anthrax, small pox, etc.

It is just too simple to say, there is no Iraq/al Qaeda connection at this point... from what I have been reading on FR, and hearing the administration NOT SAY... there is a strong connection. In Woodward's book, BUSH AT WAR, both Tenet and Cheney intimate that they know Iraq is the sponsor, but they are unwilling to state so, until absolutely necessary.

You may be right. But the sooner the war starts (assuming that we actually go to war), the less time the other side has to prepare, the less time to make new coalitions with other terrorist organizations, the less time for the opposition domestically to gain numbers and power and cause political chaos at home. IMO, if we must go to war, the sooner the better.
