Alcohol is notorious for slowing one's reaction time, and in the case of many of the people there, that slowed reaction time probably proved to be fatal. It is hard enough for even completely sober people -- without very intensive specialized training -- to react immediately to that type of situation and immediately make the right decision. Minds and senses dulled by alcohol slowed reaction times down for most of the people far too much.

You guys are right on; NEVER go into any structure, vehicle or any confined space without an escape plan.

Also, if this club would have had a sprinkler system, we wouldn't have to be talking about it now.....
