This is the same neck of the woods that generated that other story, possibly untrue, wherin a late model american car was involved in an rollover accident, and the investigating police noticed that the upside-down car did not have an independent chassis. He then determined that the owner had been cheated and endangered by the perfidious Americans. (The concept of a uni-body seems not to have trickled down to his level...)

Of all the possible ideas, the restaurant chose this one to target children and make the youngsters buy their meals. Gee, maybe it's 'cause I ain't got no kids. But, um, how much spending power do they have? Maybe we can get ourselves out of this economic slowdown by marketing to children even more!
To: yankeedame
...because arab children should not apparently be either happy or have a meal.

Interesting to see what happens when a society stuck in the 9th century meets modern technology and marketing techniques. I wonder how many televisions they had to take apart before it dawned on them that the images on the screen were not people stuck in the box.

I do so hope that this is a true story rather than another example of turban-induced paranoia, but either way it is a riot.

Of all the possible ideas, the restaurant chose this one to target children and make the youngsters buy their meals. The story read by the children tells them that if they eat food from the restaurant, they will develop supernatural powers. Here is the commercial significance of the advertisement. Makes me think of John Cleese's banker -"What an absolutely BRILLIANT idea!"
