Serbian Orthodox suffer since the United Nations took control of Kosovo

Serbian Orthodox suffer

At least 110 Serb Christian sites (churches, monasteries, graveyards etc.) have been damaged or destroyed in Kosovo since the United Nations took control in June 1999.

Most recently, a church building in the village of Ljubovo was completely destroyed by an explosion in the early hours of 17 November last.

A second explosion damaged another church in the town of Djurakovac. The bombings came on the eve of a visit to Kosovo by UN General Secretary Kofi Annan.

Church leaders and Orthodox worshippers also face violence and hostility from ethnic Albanians, especially where UN checkpoints in the vicinity of churches have been withdrawn in recent months.

Ethnic Albanian Muslim extremists regard churches as symbols of Serbian domination and see them as legitimate targets.

There is no such thing as a "UN safe haven" under international law. Screw the UN for inventing the illegitamite concept and then allowing the Muslims to stage armed attacks from them.

The Serb War Against Bin Laden

What industrial base do the Muslims have in Bosnia and Albania to keep the Serbs out once NATO (which is near death) goes away?

What is a few more years, eh?

The war of the womb is a myth. It is who is wealthy enough to build a modern army that can do more than stage road side ambushes like drive tanks into a city and take it. The Serbs can. The Croats can (if they have Americans leading them) but the Bosnians and Albanians can't and won't be able to for generations to come-if ever.

When the Balkan wars starts again (and they will) enjoy the population correction that will follow (where will NATO be then to stop it? The dustbin of history). I know I will.

Was it in the American sector that you let al-Qaeda run around willy nilly? How useless your service was-how unsafe you made America-how eagerly you served America's enemies---and still do.

In reference how I served my nation in Bosnia, I will stand before my God and be judged by Him alone. I fear not His Judgment. On this matter at least.

How useless of you. How useless you were. How useless your mission. What a waste of American citizenry and treasure.

Welcome to post 9/11 America --where you just may be judged.

Reserve your copy of this book out soon: Evan Kohlmann is a senior terrorism analyst at the Investigative Project, a Washington D.C.-based counterterrorism think tank established in 1995. He is currently writing a book, The Martyrs of Bosnia: Al-Qaida’s War of Terror in the Balkans.

Serbian Orthodox suffered SINCE the UN took over ? They were suffering DURING the war from the hands of the muslim albanians. Ancient Orthodox churches were desecrated, graffiti all over alters and nuns were raped ! So what is the news here about SINCE the UN took over ?

I don't hate Serbs, I just hate what some of them did and what a few of them became.

I hate the idea of my tax dollars being used to bomb Christians for the benefit of muslims (and/or to take credible rape allegations against a piece of garbage president like Clinton off the pages of our newspapers) and I hate the idea of stupid people such as yourself being sent around the world on stupid missions like "nation building" in the Balkans. I'd rather simply pay to keep your ilk on some harmless welfare reservation where you belong.

You know I listed the book link for a reason....Judged by popular opinion, then by congress (remember when the Republican congress denied authorization for Kosovo?-think I forgot this is a Kosovo thread?) then maybe by a court of law...

I can think of nothing more scarier. Chilled just thinking about it.

Ref. Croats: the ones I encountered in Bosnia were loud, obnoxious, aggressive, had an overweening sense of persecution, self righteousness, a willingness to believe every atrocity tale that involved their own ethnic group, a willingness to disbelieve any atrocity tale that didn't invovle their own ethnic group or involved their group as perpetrators, and a marked inability to see anyone else's point of view. In that, they were almost indistinguishable from the Serbs. And the Muslims.
