You know, the only way they can get around the lack of soft money is through massive increases in hard money. Since their base isn't one to shell out $1000 checks, I predict they will try to give people money and have them write the checks individually (which is, of course, illegal).

They will have to cut thousands of small checks....thousands.

I think they will try it. I also think they will get caught.

That's one way. Even as we type, the conniving Clintons are caluclating the ways they can circumvent the law.

Yeah, and it's been done before.

"In his plea, Lazaroff admitted asking other law firm employees to contribute to Democratic presidential candidates Al Gore and Bill Bradley in September 1999. He then reimbursed them, a violation of the federal limit of $1,000 in individual campaign contributions."
